Matters needing attention in the use of chlorine trap

Chlorine traps should not be placed directly in the production workshop as far as possible to reduce the corrosion of the gas head of the cylinder body of the chlorine trap. They should be stored in a room near the site to prevent exposure to the sun and rain and extend the service life of the chlorine trap.

At ordinary times, pay attention to check the pressure gauge of the filter. When the pointer is lower than the green area, nitrogen shall be added immediately, and the pointer can be restored to the green area. (Note: units without pressure vessel inflation qualification shall not be engaged in inflation work to avoid danger) to ensure emergency use.

Chlorine gas eliminator is a device to neutralize the leaked chlorine in coordination with the rescue and plugging work, not a plugging tool. In case of chlorine leakage, the rescue personnel can first use the spotgun to reduce the concentration of the leaked chlorine by strafing, and then find the leakage point for plugging work. The operator of the filter shall be located in the upwind direction of the leakage point and spray downwind. Do not spray at the leakage point to avoid affecting the sight of the plugging personnel.
